Hi, I’m Jennifer
I’m the blogger behind Simply Real and Organized. I live on five acres in Tucson, Arizona, in the heart of the Sonoran Desert. Every day here is an adventure! Here are the very basics about me and who I am at my core: I’m a follower of Christ, a wife, a mom, a Gogo (what my grandkids call me), and an entrepreneur.
I would love to help you create the home and life you’ve always wanted.

Some interesting facts about me:
- My desk is always a mess (yes, I see the irony in my disaster of a desk and the name of my blog, I’m just keeping it real!)
- I will generally stop everything to play Everdell or Catan with my family
- My grandkids and I have epic battles against Godzilla, which is basically throwing toys at a Godzilla action figure until he falls over. Luckily we always emerge victorious. I may or may not (but definitely do) have a dent in the drywall by my fireplace from one of these very enthusiastic battles.
Can I Ask You a Question?
What would you achieve if you could free up hours of time each day? Let me help you to reduce clutter, organize your home, and simplify your life to reclaim those precious hours!
Why I Started Simply Real and Organized
It’s probably no surprise that I enjoy having organized spaces and a life free from overwhelming clutter. I also cherish the benefits of a slower-paced lifestyle. I’d love to share how I arrived at this point and why it holds such significance for me.
In my earlier years, I often felt unfulfilled and struggled with feelings of inadequacy. I often wondered if I was making a difference in my own life and the lives of others. I felt like a participant rather than the director of my own journey. With numerous larger goals in mind, I frequently moved from task to task without making substantial progress in any one area.
Starting new projects often left me bored or uncertain about how to proceed, leading me to abandon them prematurely. I was undoubtedly busy, but I rarely felt accomplished.
While my house appeared tidy, I lacked a genuine cleaning plan, resulting in spaces that weren’t actually all that clean. My pantry was cluttered with expired foods because I kept buying items without a clear plan for their use or rotation. I tended to hide my clutter, stuffing closets, cupboards, and drawers until they became chaotic black holes where items went to disappear.
Meal planning was a challenge; I rarely knew what to prepare for dinner until it was time to eat, leaving me scrambling to put something on the table. My days were dictated by whatever came my way rather than by intentional planning, and I felt like time was slipping through my fingers. I was busy without achieving what truly mattered to me, and I struggled to break free from the patterns that kept me stuck in a cycle of busyness.
I Decided a Change Was in Order
Perhaps you can relate? If you’re feeling overwhelmed, know that I’ve been there too. I’ve learned valuable lessons about why I felt this way and how to take control of my life for the better.
I decided to make a change, aiming to become a better version of myself. My goal wasn’t to change the world but to transform my own. I wanted to carve out time for the people and activities that truly mattered to me.
Over time, I acquired the knowledge and habits necessary to regain control of my life. I decluttered extensively, even more so after moving, and organized my spaces. I established systems that worked for me, learned how to set and achieve goals, and became more intentional about how I spent my time.
How I Can Help You
With my newfound insights and habits, I reclaimed countless hours each day. It’s incredibly liberating to choose how to spend your time instead of merely shifting from one chore to another. I refined my systems and daily routines, enabling me to focus on my goals while still enjoying time with family, friends, and personal interests. The difference has been profound!
I want that same transformation for you! Regardless of where you are in life, I’m here to help you lead a more fulfilling and authentic life, creating the time and space for what truly matters to you.
I will share the lessons I’ve learned over the years to help you overcome obstacles and finally create the life you’ve always envisioned—a life filled with possibilities, positivity, vision, and intentional simplicity (even if your life is as crazy as mine!). Together, let’s work towards a decluttered, organized, and fulfilling life. Join me on this journey to become Simply Real and Organized!
